Ladies Day Out in the Garden Join us for a delightful and enriching day designed exclusively for ladies, set in the serene surroundings of our beautiful garden. Our event promises a perfect blend of relaxation, learning, and indulgence. Here’s what awaits you: Welcome and Garden Tour Begin your day with a warm welcome introduction, followed by a guided tour of our garden. Enjoy insightful commentary on the herbs, general plant growing, companion gardening, and much more. Drying Room Experience Step into our drying room for an informative session on how to dry herbs and create oils. This includes a brief demonstration, providing you with practical knowledge and tips. Wine Tasting I have partnered with Straight Eight Estate so you can indulge in a wine tasting experience with Mary from Straight 8 or myself. We will guide you through tasting five selected wines, (you can select prior to your visit) complete with palate cleansers (water, plain bread, or crackers) and detailed notes about each wine. Wine can be purchased for your to take home. Lunch Savour a delicious lunch featuring ingredients from our garden, with a focus on herbs and locally sourced foods. Enjoy homemade tarts made with our organic vegetables and fruits, fresh salads, and a generous sharing platter. The platter includes local meats, cheeses, honey, nuts, and other artisanal delights from Selwyn producers. Tea, Coffee, and Sweet Treats End your meal with a selection of homemade sweet nibbles, accompanied by tea and coffee, providing a perfect conclusion to your dining experience. Afternoon Activity Participate in an engaging afternoon activity where you'll create three edible herbal-based products to take home. This hands-on session is both fun and educational.
