A relaxed morning exploring herbal teas
We begin with a brief introduction before getting straight into tasting a selection of individual herbal teas. We usually taste around eight to ten different herbs, taking time to talk about each one, its flavour and its traditional uses and benefits. Tasting the herbs individually is a lovely way to begin recognising their different characters and discovering which ones you particularly enjoy.
We then stop for coffee and cake before heading out into the herb garden. As we wander through the garden, we will look at many of the herbs we have just tasted, talk about how they grow and how they are harvested and dried for tea.
Back inside, you will have the opportunity to put what you have discovered into practice by creating your own herbal tea to take home, choosing from a selection of dried herbs and flowers.
A workshop booklet is included, with information about the herbs we taste and plenty of useful information to take home with you.
